Sarajevodagar i Belgrad

Idag inleds Sarajevodagarna i Belgrad – organiserat av Youth Initiative for Human Rights med stöd av Belgrads stad. Såhär skriver de på hemsidan:

”From May 14th to 17th, within the Days of Sarajevo in Belgrade festival, you will have the opportunity to be reminded of the Sarajevo you once knew, to see how much Sarajevo had changed since that time, or to see for the first time the significant undertakings of the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

For three years now, the Days of Sarajevo in Belgrade festival has been renewing the connections severed by the armed clashes during the nineties. The festival, which takes place in May each year, symbolically represents a reminder of the four-year long siege of Sarajevo.”

Film, teater, paneldiskussioner, musik. Mira säger att bandet Dubioza Kolektiv från Tuzla/Sarajevo som spelar ikväll på Dom Omladine är superbra. Jag ska gå på teaterföreställningen ”Crossing the line” ikväll, en föreställning av Dah Teatar som är baserad på boken ”Kvinnors sida av kriget” som Kvinnor i Svart gett ut.
